Heh! This movie was just so great, and Milton was such a cutie! *hugs Jeffrey Combs* great pic, I loved this scene :giggle:

PFFT HOW DID I MISS THIS PICTURE?

I'm really angry at myself for not finding it sooner :/

Anyways, I *love* this drawing. It almost looks like even though he is proud of himself for getting through all the torture and mutilation he's been put through, he still despairs and is angry for what happened to him. Oh Dammers.... I *knew* there was some sanity left in you

Great job! =D

PS: Have you seen 'From Beyond'? It's another film with Jeffrey Combs in it (playing a very woobie scientist) and it's directed/produced by the same guys who did Re-Animator. It's actually not bad and you can find it on Youtube (if you look hard enough).

Just thought you might want to know, it's one of Combs' lesser known works I believe.

LMAO Milton is one of my faves of Misters Combs many characters.
I enjoyed bringing him more life. He really needed more time TT^TT

Yes, ive seen from Beyond. Most of the reanimator cast was in it infact lol. I enjoyed Castle Freak as well..
Alot of Jeff's earlier work seems to be over looked a bit sadly.
:icontragic-affair:
Dammers is also one of my favourite Combs characters (How can you *not* love him?). He gets a bit more screentime if you have the Frighteners Director's Cut (not to mention you learn some disturbing stuff about him in one of the extended scenes)

Wow, I didn't think if any people knew of Castle Freak (let alone From Beyond), but the freak scared the living daylights out of me. I also liked Doctor Mordrid (another overlooked film of Jeff's). (XD Youtube ftw!)
:iconherbert-west-jr:
lol, Yes charles mason. I can't believe the rated the frightners R because of shot gun fires and the swastika on Dammers hand. I just wish he didn't die.
They put so much work into making him.

Ah yes,Dr.Mordrid.Yet another one.Same with the Necronomicon.I have no use for youtube in those matters, i have to rely on my VHS player ^_^;. you never know when i scene in youtube will go missing.
:icontragic-affair:
lol, poor Dammers. Can't catch a break, can he? D: (Although with the 'shotgun fires', Milton gets his head blown off, right? So that could cause the censors to rate that an R.) And I seriously agree with the 'shouldn't have killed Milton', he was just such an awesome character. I wonder if Bannister ever tried to help Ghost!Milton to try and pass on or something (because having a dead, psychotic FBI agent pissed off at you is never a good thing XD)

Oh, Necronomicon~ You and your stretchy monks are just *loaded* with Nightmare Fuel. And I have to use Youtube because I can't find any of those movies elsewhere. The only movies I've found with Jeff Combs in it without resorting to Youtube was the ReAnimator trilogy, Frighteners and House on Haunted Hill 1 & 2. I have horrible luck with finding movies. (Pfft VHS? Living in the Stone Age, are you? lol)
:iconherbert-west-jr:
well originally the shotgun was suppose to shoot him through the chest and he wasn't suppose to become a ghost.(weird, how thats more R rated then getting shot in the head and being a ghost o.o which somehow makes it PG13 XD) I remember once reading a fanfiction on that, where Bannister helped Dammers crossover. It went into childhood and that.

LOL silly monks.Im not so much living in the stone age as putting up with lame technology lol.Before I left home we had a HUGE stalk of VHS of old horror movies dating back to the late 70's to the late 90's and I took them all. stuff like puppet master,Cellar dweller,Dolls...The really old stuff. unfortunately finding any of them on dvd without using the internet to buy them is tidious,So i must put up with old technology sadly -_-;
